How Tarotverse collects, uses, and protects your information

We collect information only when you voluntarily provide it. Specifically, when you generate an astrocartography birth chart, you may optionally provide:
All fields except date of birth are optional. Email is never required to use the site.
We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page visited, timestamp) automatically when you access the site. This is standard for all web hosting and is not linked to your personal data.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any automated decision-making that affects you.
Chart submissions are received via Netlify Forms and stored in your Netlify account's form submissions dashboard. This data is hosted on Netlify's infrastructure in the United States, which is compliant with international data transfer requirements.
Your email address is also stored locally in your browser's localStorage so it can be pre-filled on future visits. This data never leaves your device unless you submit a chart.
We retain form submission data for up to 2 years from the date of collection, after which it is deleted.
Tarot reading data is currently not saved at all - readings exist only in your browser and are gone when you close the page. This may change in the future to offer optional features such as saving your reading history. If it does, you will have full control over what is stored, and any such feature will be opt-in only. This policy will be updated before any such change takes effect, and it will only apply to users going forward - never retroactively.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties for their own purposes.

This site uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to remember your email address between sessions if you have previously submitted a chart. No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies are set.
Mapbox (the mapping library we use) may set cookies related to map tile delivery. See Mapbox's privacy policy for details.
You can clear localStorage at any time via your browser settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cached data and files / Site data).
